A Man of Many Hats

Hey there, I’m Manolo Hernandez. Millennial at heart, proud dad to one wonderfully chaotic little boy, and someone who refuses to let life get too comfortable (adventure beats stagnation every time).

For me, photography isn’t just about snapping pictures, it’s about freezing a little slice of life before time steamrolls past it. Whether it’s a selfie with friends, a slightly-too-blurry concert shot, or a polished headshot for your career, every photo tells a story. Sometimes you remember the context, sometimes you don’t—but hey, at least you know it happened!

Now for the more “official” intro: I was born in Puerto Rico and moved stateside after high school to study chemistry (yes, I can balance chemical equations, but capturing your best angle is way more fun). Eventually, I made my way down to Orlando, where I met my wife during a local community theater production of Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Let’s just say answering “So how’d you two meet?” at dinner parties is always good for a laugh.

Since then, life’s been an ongoing adventure of theater, travel, and building an incredible community. After 11+ years together, my wife and I now share the joy (and chaos) of raising our energetic little boy, who keeps us on our toes 24/7.

Photography is my way of creating a legacy—capturing memories for others while building something meaningful for my family’s future. My goal is simple: to provide images that make people stop, smile, and remember what matters.

Oh, and when I’m not behind the camera? I dabble in graphic design too. If you’re curious, you can check out my merch and designs through my Linktree.
